How to Wear Your Flyleaf Merch
Six designs, seven garments and a lot of ways to wear them. Here is how we'd put a Flyleaf outfit together.
Which design should you start with?
- Fully Alive: the red FLYLEAF wordmark over a portrait of the band, named after our single. The easy first pick.
- The winged statue: a distressed FLYLEAF arch over an engraved winged figure and acanthus leaves. Big and bold.
- The moth and moon: a moth on a crescent moon beside a hand-lettered Flyleaf. Quiet and detailed.
- The birds: a lone figure on a rust background, held up by two birds on strings.
- The serpent: a green-and-gold scene of eyes, lightning and a coiled serpent under the wordmark.
- The crowned figure: a figure in a crown holding a fistful of strings, next to the FLYLEAF name.
How do you wear it to a show?
Tee or long sleeve: a design with a lot of detail reads best on a tee, and a long sleeve keeps you warm once the sun goes down.
Hoodie: for the walk back to the car. A hoodie with a big design works on its own, no jacket needed.
How do you wear it every day?
Keep the rest simple: dark jeans and boots let the artwork do the talking.
Layer it: an open flannel or denim jacket over a tee still shows the wordmark.
Does it work for the whole family?
Yes. Every design also comes on a kids' tee, a youth crewneck and a youth hoodie, so everyone in the house can wear the same one.
How do you keep it looking good?
Turn it inside out before washing, wash cold and skip the dryer when you can.
